Our “New” Home”
After staying at our current home for 10+ years, we decided to give it a new look. It was a challenge initially as there was so much to do, and we didn’t know where to start. Out of so many renovation firms and so many different IDs, Sylvia’s design caught my eyes. I could not explain why, but it was just a gut feeling that I should approach her for my dream home. I shared my views with hubby, who concurred with my observation. We decided to contact her for discussion.
Sylvia and Carina left us a good impression even at the first meeting as they were the only ID who would request to visit our home in the first meet-up while the rest of the IDs asked us to come to their showroom. They took note of every corner of our house (even the measurements) and tried to understand what our requirements were. As a result, Sylvia’s proposal of the floor plan design not only addressed all our needs but also showed how creative she is in space planning. After much consideration and comparison across IDs, we decided to go with Sylvia.
While first impressions set a good start, the whole renovation journey with Sylvia and Carina was pleasant. Despite hiccups (which we believe it is unavoidable, especially for an overhaul renovation), every issue was handled professionally. No excuses, no arguments, committed delivery, and great solutions are what we have experienced with them. Both Sylvia and Carina took in our feedback positively and provided constructive recommendations for resolution.
We were excited waiting for our “new” home and very happy that it turned out great. The actual “product” looks pretty close to how it shows in the 3D design. We and the kids love every corner of the house now. The more we stay, the more we appreciate the practicality of the design which meets our needs. We would like to thank Sylvia and Carina for the great working experience and friendship that we develop together. We highly recommend Design4Space and especially the duo Sylvia and Carina to everyone who wants to make their dream home a reality.
Design
Sylvia’s design not only addressed all our needs but also showed how creative she is in space planning.
Workmanship
There were a few hiccups in the carpentry but they managed to rectify the defects without much fuss or arguments.
Service
Amazing service, we never had to “fight” or argue when any defects were encountered. They will not hesitate to hack up floor tiles or replace an entire cabinet door if it is not up to expectations.
Value for Money
We compared quotes with other firms and for requirements, the prices from Design 4 Space were either comparable.
