It is a quality that homeowners actively look for when selecting an Interior Designer and home renovation contractors. As first time homeowners, my wife and I are truly blessed to have found the ID that we could our place trust and good faith in.
From my wife and I, we sincerely wish to say a big “Thank You!” to Mr. Melvin Lee from Design4Space, Paya Lebar branch. Thank you for designing and delivering our new nest timely, and in excellent condition. From the time we first made contact about 7 months ago, working with you has been a pleasure and an experience we will greatly treasure. Since taking over the house and living in it for about 1.5 months, we feel thoroughly at home and enjoy every moment of what you and team have built for us.
Thank you also for being candid and honest during our conversations, and giving us the guidance towards designing our first home. We must commend your accurate 3D art renders, which greatly helped us to visualize our finalized home design right from the early planning stage. We simply love the pragmatic and ergonomic considerations that have been subtly woven within clean, natural designs that you came up with.
Your thorough approach to briefing us about the step-by-step project stages and the detailed breakdown scope of works, also managed our expectations well and minimized potential costs/surprises. Realistically speaking, we all know that nothing goes entirely without hiccups, and we are very grateful for your frank and timely updates to report any delays that cropped up during the renovations.
We also greatly appreciate all the supplier contacts you shared for wall and floor tiles, lights fixtures, bathroom fixtures, aircon installers, and window blinds, all of whom gave quality products and services at reasonable prices. Melvin’s subcontractors have performed very well considering the tight schedule, and their workmanship have been good.
It was also a great relief for us first-timers when Melvin & his sub-contractor teams were always friendly and willing to listen to minor on-site requests. I must also express my gratitude to Melvin’s sub-contractors for entertaining my questions and teaching me along the way about electrical works, plumbing, painting…etc. The knowledge and skills they shared should be just enough for me to do some household maintenance on my own in the future.
Although we have taken over the house, Melvin is still very responsive to our WhatsApp messages if we had any feedback. We recently informed Melvin about an overlooked tiny 1cm paint crack line just before Christmas 2020, and the painting team were scheduled drop by on Christmas Day itself to fix it up (job completed within 5mins)!
Since the first day till the present (post-handover), my wife and I have been truly blessed to have engaged Melvin his various sub-contractors. The professionalism, technical competency, and customer service that we still receive today has given us first-time homeowners a great peace-of-mind. Instead of Design 4 Space, the entire experience that Melvin and his teams have given my wife and I, has us convinced that they are actually Designed For Trust.

A little more pricier among the IDs we consulted, but you do get your money’s worth. 🙂
