ID: SherminTheme: Japandi MinimalistWe have explored many different IDs and the one that stood out the most for us was Shermin from Design 4 Space. As new home owners, there were many things we were unfamiliar with, things to look out for, efficient use of space etc, but Shermin has been nothing but patient and informative, making sure we understand the things we were taking up and agreeing to, every step of the way. When the proposal and the budget we had didn’t match, she tried her best to accommodate and make adjustments to the proposal without compromising the quality of the work, so that our budget could work. Communication throughout the project was smooth and she keeps us up to date on the progress, from the start of work till the end, making sure we’re informed and consulted for any changes that is needed in between (this is common as planned works and actually executing them to the dot is near impossible, due to the actual circumstances of the house etc).Renovation began in September and was completed by December, but this includes any touch-ups or cleaning up of defects etc, which was actually quite fast considering the covid situation and manpower crunch most ID companies would be facing. Shermin made sure this was not an issue as much as possible and ensured quality delivery.The work delivered impressed me the most especially with the quality of the carpentry, which covered 70% of the entire work (we had full height wardrobes, platform bed, feature wall that covered the bomb shelter, and top and bottom kitchen cabinets). And she took into consideration during the design process of my OCD with cleanliness and ease of cleaning, and the final product made my life easier when it comes to cleaning up every nook and cranny of the house. Kudos to Shermin for that!To other homeowners out there who are looking for a reliable and trustworthy ID who will take care of your design needs and requirements every step of the way, she is the one to go to. We’d recommend her in a heartbeat as thats how happy and satisfied we are with the house done up by her.
