“Honest, Hardworking, Fuss-free”
We were introduced to Vincent Chuah (Design 4 Space) by a strong recommendation from a friend. After speaking to many IDs over a span of 4 months, we decided to engage Vincent. He was honest, hardworking, and was able to provide creative and practical solutions to our requirements. He was also patient, meticulous and thorough at every step of the process.
My wife and I have high-intensity jobs and have very little bandwidth (or patience for that matter). Thankfully for Vincent, the entire experience was fuss-free.
During the initial consultation (before the deposit was paid), he took the effort to understand what we wanted and what was important. Vincent, being detail-oriented, had multiple in-depth discussions with us. After those sessions, he would always check back with us on the colour, texture, dimensions etc. He always made sure that we were comfortable with our choices made during the earlier sessions.
During the renovation, we didn’t have to be on site much. We always had his attention and his response was often prompt, concise, and precise.
Our collaboration felt like a partnership. He took a lot of pride in his work, and was clearly invested in this project like his own – a subtle and often underappreciated quality that I admire the most. He addressed all issues directly
The only major rectification we needed were on the bathroom tiles (general workmanship) and vinyl (quality). However those were prioritized and resolved as quickly as he could.
That said, we think that the overall value-for-money is decent, and can be enhanced further if the workmanship and finishing improves.
